My Bedroom

by Amnah   Oct 23, 2006

With cobwebs covering the walls
And articles covered with dust
Furniture in white sheets
Handles covered in rust
Each and every chair creaking
Everything threatening to fall
This is where I plan to live
My bedroom, you may call
Now, you see, it’s not so bad
As bad it might seem
I will redecorate my room
In different coloring scheme
I shall put in my furniture
I shall paint all the walls
I shall make it bright and new
White-washed, as one calls
And I shall put in my favorites
Articles I like the best
I shall take out the creaking chairs
And replace all the rest
And then, it will be ready
The best room, above all
Now, this is where I plan to live
My bedroom, you may call.

Such a simple topic, yet you managed to write a pretty great poem on it. Not a lot of people can pull that off as well as you just did, awesome.
