We talked this weekend decided to be be on good terms, until your family interrupts and acts as if our relationship is any of there concern
They talk and talk trying to turn you against me, I wish you could open up your eyes and see
You know I have been nothing but there for you all this time, and for you to listen to them and all of their lying
I can't even call your house without them having something to say, and I can't believe you listen to them with their ways
Your mothers a two face she tells me what you should be like, but on the opposite side shes just making us fight
She talked to my sister last night and you know what she said, she told her I was nothing and without you I wouldn't be fed
That I have everything because of you when you know that all of that isnt even true
That you did everything while I did nothing, who the hell is she to say anything
She told my sister you better not make a fool out of them by getting back with me, she acts as if shes a perfect lady
Who do you go to when you need help not her for sure cause thats not what shes about
When you grew up and your stepfather abused you, who did she run to
She was too busy comforting her husband while you were trying to cope the best way you could
And when you asked for your dad she told you not to try to find him or she would disown you, what kind of mother would let her child go through what you went through?
So all I can say is don't listen to what she says open up your eyes, can't you see she ain't nothing but a two face in disguise
When you were locked up it was me who was there, your mother acted as if she didn't care
When you needed to cry it was my shoulder to lean on, while your mother was out doing her wrong
So I wish you could realize the person I really am, and find it in your heart to truly understand
That after all these years I loved you with my whole heart, I would never be the one to break you apart.
