Black Days

by katie   Oct 24, 2006

Shrouded by silence I just want to fade into the darkness.
Want it to become a part of me, hiding in my words.
Living in the quiet solitude of that resolute black,
I can forget the day.
Not to be noticed, I won't have to talk.
No one to listen, reality chopped.
Escape from my fate, I can travel through time,
Live in those fantasies, livin' a lie.
Talk to the trees, they can whisper my name, fall through the waves, a watery grave.
The emptiness that's inside of me
gives me a place,
for all that screaming space.
The voices inside my head,
dare me to try,
living in that darkness of my life.
Fade into that silence,
fall into my night.
