Shades of grey

Look at my face
does it appear grey?
the colours drain out
as hope fades

look in my eyes
can you still see?
through all your blackened lies
do you remember me?

look at me
as i stand infront of you
everything black and white
so much clearer yet brutal
my eyes dark as night

hold me close
but your once warm touch now cold
let me go
let life unfold

you lied too many time
betrayed my trust
i followed my heart
you followed lust

ill close my eyes
theres nothing left to say
because of you
my lifes all shades of grey
