I Lift My Life As A Prayer To You

by stargirl49   Oct 25, 2006

Dear Lord,
it's me again down here.
I hope that you'll listen
'cause no one else seems to hear.
Lord, you know so well
that I feel guilty
sometimes when I pray.
The sins that I've done
for them I now have to pay.

I'm so sorry, Lord,
for that which I've become.
I've tried so hard,
but I still fall short of Your Kingdom.
I know I'm not worthy
of Your grace and love,
but You still say to me
those wonderful words
of comfort and affection,
"My Beloved, come to Me,
for I love you."

Your love fills my heart,
and I am whole once again.
Every time I hear Your Words
and Your Touch on my hand,
I raise my voice and praise Your Name.
Every grain of sand
and every rock on the plain
join me in grateful praise.

My Savior,
we're laying our hearts at Your Feet.
My Savior,
I'm giving You my life.
My Savior,
I praise You with my heart.
My Savior,
I live my life to serve You.

Lord, I lift my life
as a prayer to You.
I'll go anywhere
You want me to.
Lord, hear my prayer
and loving worship raised.
Take it as a servant's praise.
Amen.
