Admit It

by Stacey   Oct 29, 2006

Red fades to brown,
though to hear not a sound?
But they don't admit.

Mutation and disease,
Its your water, do as you please.
But they don't admit.

Depletion and demise,
The plans that you devise,
And you still won't admit?

The damage is done,
the battle's been won,
Earth is beyond repairable.
And still no-one admits its their fault.

I get asked a lot what my poems mean, so from now on I'm explaining them.

This one's about humans ruining the Earth and no-one taking the blame to put it simply.

Hope you liked it :)

It was a great poem written with the right intent. i understand now what you mean about people not understanding what you mean by your poetry... i liked the explanation... it made everything finally fall into place... the last paragraph/stanza... whatever u may call it was the best part in my opinion. very good wrting skills.
