Wrists painted red.

by Amberinaa   Oct 31, 2006

Dreams and illusions;visions of haze
the want of love is what she craves
Pain and horror locked in her head
and forever she'll have wrists painted red.

Depressed and alone, scared and cold
she just wants someone to love and hold
Crying herself to sleep in her bed
and forever she'll have wrists painted red.

her body so fragile, her eyes so scared
isn't it sad how nobody cared.
cheeks so wet, with tears she shed
as it's the last night her wrists will be red.

*not one of my best. just kinda spur of the moment thoughts. please comment.

Amazing poem. I love reading your work, its always so deep and beautiful. I really liked it, for a pur of the moment it came out incredibly! It was so tragic and makes a person think about the way people neglect others. I loved it.
