If lies are what you want...

by Bradley Peter   Nov 1, 2006

If you want me to lie to you
Then that's what I shall do
If lies are what you need
Then with lies I shall proceed

I shall keep you in the dark
From dirty deeds inside the park
I shall keep the truth unheard
And never breathe a truer word

You can be happy in pretend
As I cheat and lie and condescend
You can be blissfully unaware
That you're lover doesn't care

But one last truth I'll say
Before I let truth fly away
Lies are not my friend
But for you I will pretend

*I writ this poem in a response to another poet's piece called 'Lie to me...'. Though this poem isn't exactly how I feel*

This describes a situation i use to be in. I mean it's like i liked this girl so bad but she feel for this dude even though he lied now it's like her tells her he cheats on her and she don't even care. But oh well awesome job.

K, I do like da poem, but If I ever found out you'd lied to me I'd kill you. Lies are never good but I take your comment at the end to mean that this isn't how you feel?
I dunno, I think its worse to lie to someone because you can learn to forgive truth but not lies. and don't even get me started on cheater,, especially not lying ones cos you know how I feel about them!!!
