Hidden Tears

She runs and laughs
she seems so happy
and then you see it

a single tear escapes
her eye
as she wipes it away
quickly and silently
you wonder what
is the truth

is she truly as
happy as she appears
so as sad as those
hidden tears

as she laughs in
happiness but only at
memory of her with him

then you notice that
sadness escape once
more with the realization
that thats all she has left
of him

shes only as happy as
