Cold Heart

by Kirstie Bolling   Nov 3, 2006

I sit there and laugh hide behind my fake smile
Sometimes I wish I were someone else for just a while

Just for a while escape and leave the pain
Sometimes I hurt so bad I feel Im going insane

I tried so hard to fit in
but me no one would accept
I looked down to the ground
tears ran as I wept

Unloved and unwanted
Is where I am
As I sit here wishing
You were holding my hand

I tried to fly but lost my wings long ago
I feel Ill never fly again, in fact I know

Cold tears drop and taunt my face
A colder heart, just empty space

So Ill just fall, torn apart
A wingless angel without a heart
