Wrath of Fate

by Flying Phoenix   Nov 4, 2006

I sit upon this lifeless form
Numb to feelings, to emotions
And as I sit I watch and hear
That fragile soul of one so near
Has been stuck once again
By that wrath of fate

My life so simple and so calm
How can torment affect me?
For I have no problems
Compared to he

My wish, my love, my dear friend
I hate this fate, this horrid end
Why did they choose you?
Why pick someone so loving
So caring and bright
Why make you suffer?
This cannot be fair

Who dealt those cards
I do not know
And if there is a god
Why is his pain like so?

But as I watch
And give my heart
I know he's loved

For throughout the pain
The torment of his life
I'll help him surely
He's not alone
There's me and you

You wont cry on your own
Not whilst we're all here
To give our shoulders
Comfort your fear
And if not physically
Right by your side
I'll give my heart
For you to confide

*I wrote a poem. For you.*
