Still Here I Stand

by Kalgalath   Nov 5, 2006

Still here I stand
Before the almighty God
This was unplanned
My life was flawed

He is telling me
What I have done wrong
He speaks so sternly
But I seem to be headstrong

I thought my life was perfect
That I had done nothing wrong
Except for that time I panicked
And killed that little blonde

She was so young
She was so new
She had sprung
Into life anew

She did nothing to deserve to die
Her time was not up
Her mother had to say goodbye
Before the sunup

Still here I stand
With God looking me in the eyes
She is in a new land
That never has goodbyes

He is sending me
Down below
To a world that is dirty
And the devil says hello
