Wow, this was very well written, the imagery, rhymes, flow and structure of this poem was faboulous. Awesome Job. And I believe you are talking about Poetry, written on paper.

    Ciao, Joe

I agree with Joe. It is about Poetry, or nonetheless, words in themselves.

I really liked this, however. I really hate reading poems lately because most just don't seem to possess (Spelling) such talent anymore (I know, rude and harsh) but you never cease to amaze me with your creative words. I love reading your work. Great job.

To me it sounds like it's referring to true love. Great usage of descriptions and clues. Keep it up

    Love it!

"There are those lustful who would caress it
The envious wish vainly they could possess it"
^^^ Awesome lines and so true!

"It treads a razors edge that is mysteriously narrow
Seen only by those shot with a mythical arrow"
^^^ My favorite lines, nice choice of words!
I usually don't care much for rhyming poetry, but I like this. It's different and not at all cliched. Great piece!

I wrote this poem as a challenge for a riddle
The master poet that inspired the first line is Kahlil Gibran
    Quote from The Prophet;
"People of Orphalese, beauty is life when life unveils her holy face.
But you are life and you are the veil.
Beauty is eternity gazing at itself in a mirror.
But you are eternity and your are the mirror"

It treads a razors edge that is mysteriously narrow
Was inspired by a line from Bob Dylan's "Shelter from the Storm" Beauty walks a razor's edge, someday I'll make it mine"

Dwelling in the passions of those that behold
This is the line I thought would give the riddle away inspired by the cliché Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder

It may often be shallow, or it may be very deep
Was inspired by the cliché “beauty is only skin deep”
Physical beauty is superficial and is not as important as a person’s intellectual, emotional, and spiritual qualities.

But I understand how love can be perceived in terms of shallow, or deep

Some hear it in the melody of their favorite song
If you think of it fondly you cannot get it wrong

When I wrote this poem I was thinking of beauty. When most read this poem they thought of love
    beauty
1 : the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit : LOVELINESS
    2 : a beautiful person or thing; especially : a beautiful woman
3 : a particularly graceful, ornamental, or excellent quality
4 : a brilliant, extreme, or egregious example or instance
    5 : BOTTOM

Once again, very well done. I just don't see how I could say anything else. Your poems just aren't enough for words to describe. I loved it! 5/5

When I read this poem, it reminds me of love, but I know that you mean beauty by it. And I actually like it better when I think of it as beauty. You had some great vocabulary in this and it flowed very well. The rhyming worked very well.. and you described everything in this good also. Great job on this! 5/5 Keep it up! You are an amazing poet!
