Alone (different poem, same title)

Alone in the night
Alone in the daylight
Along when I am happy
Alone when I feel fright

No one around to help me
No one here when I feel lonely
Hiding away in the darkness
And no one here to stop me

I look around for someone
Someone I remember well
Does he remember me?
Who can tell?

I hope you remember
But it appears you don't
So I guess I should depart
Even though I really won't
