Floppy, the Stuffed Tiger

by TRAGiC BEAUTY   Nov 5, 2006

She was much too quiet
And just much too shy
She didn't like to talk
Nobody knew why

She had but one friend
He was always there for her
She brought the thing everywhere
Floppy, her stuffed tiger

Now, since she was only seven
Everyone understood
Why she brought it everywhere
They knew that she would

But when she turned 13
And still carried it with her
They knew something was up
How she always carried her stuffed tiger

They found out her daddy had died
And that was a present he gave her
That's the reason why
She loved that stuffed tiger

They went to the fair
And he played a game with her
If he won he knew what she wanted
She had her eye on that stuffed tiger

He won the game
And took his prize
He just loved
The look in her eyes

But then he passed away
When she was seven
She knew that her daddy
Was up in heaven

So, she took it everywhere
Always had it with her
She loved it so much
Floppy, her stuffed tiger
