Watery grave

by xDieRomanticx   Nov 6, 2006

She sneaks out of her room
shes dressed all in black
she walks down the garden path
without looking back

She walks all night
and all day too
She wonders what her parents would do

Its night again
just round the bend
is the sound of a rushing river
She qiuckens her pace
she doesnt have any time to waste

I was there
i saw her fall
I saw her try to end it all

Shed had enough
life was to tough
she threw herself into the icy water
i saw her drift away
I couldnt draw my eyes away

Another innocent girl
pushed to the limit by life
another innocent girl that would never be a wife

Now she shares a watery grave
like so many before her
it seems as though her parents never cared
or at least never dared
to find what happened to their teenage girl

I was there
I watched her cry
I watched her die

    This kinda makes me sick
    to my stomach cause like...
I don't know if it's real or not
    But to think that y'know..
    Her parents didn't even care.
    Frickin' sad.
    Good poem though!
    i loved it.
