When you were born the angels wept
For a brother had been born
Your place on earth was centred on
Those whose hearts were torn

With love as thread and smiles of glue
You helped to heal my sorrows
You seem to make the world go round
Help me focus on tomorrow

For I was blind, you helped me see
That the purest form of love
Comes from the angel man, that walks the earth
Sent to me from high above

Your wings of love, though hard to see
Have protected me so tightly

When heavens gates do part
