Laws of nature

by Julie Driscoll   Nov 6, 2006

Branches upon the trees sway with every breath we take
As though dancing
Moving in time
The leaves gently brush one another like the fingers that trace the outline of our skin
Tenderly caressing
Teasing flesh
Sap flows from its body like the moist, warm kisses that are given
Set free to explore
Discovering new parts
Birds quietly waiting to take flight as each movement we make enthrals
Watching one another
Voyeuristically
Time stands still as we loose ourselves in now, today, each other
No sound
But ours
Thunder rolls in as we collide and sparks of fulfilment ignite
Burning desire
Explodes triumphant
The universe calls for these two souls to rejoice in one another
Sensuous union
Joining hearts
Night falls as our bodies descend into quietness once more
Branches fall still
Leaves lay flat
And sap runs dry
Birds bed down
As time moves on
And thunder rolls by
The Universe remains sure that we should remain as one
One love,The One
