Love\'s Broken Yard

by Arunansu   Nov 7, 2006

I would love to do some gardening
On my love's broken yard
Like to fling away some feelings
From my mind's hidden door
Wish to blow up all the sighs
From the corner of my heart
Also
Clean up some misgivings-
That were littered on the floor.

Sow the seeds of tomorrow
In the wounds of yesterday
Let the rain of hopes drizzle
To keep the sweltering away.

Want to
See some roses red
And some
daffodils grow
May you find some sunflowers
Smiling,
in the winter snow.

If you
chance to see the chirping birds
busy
building their nest
You will know
Here is a place on the earth
Where time comes to rest.

So I,
Have a smile on my lips
And a song to hum
May I
Welcome you all my friends
For many years to come.
