The letter that floats on

by Scott Clarke   Nov 8, 2006

To my darling girlfriend Samantha Jayne Reed

They once found a letter on Mordialloc beach. It was in a bottle. The letter said

"Girl I love you so much. I don't know where or what I would be doing in this world without you. Sorry I have to be away so long. And I'm not able to always see you.

I miss you darling; I wish we could always be together in this lovely world we live in. I just want to tell you how proud I am of you; you're so special in my heart.

You have done so many things for me in my life, it means so much to me baby.

To be away from you feels like I have lost my heart and when we meet again it returns and mends itself from having to say goodbye and goodnight.

Every move I make,
Every breathe I take,
I'm just always thinking of you girl,

Whenever I hear someone say the name Sam, I always turn and pray for you to be there. Just to be standing right behind me. Just for me to be able to give you a hug.

They say when something's burning it's the vapor that burns, but when I miss you Sam it's my heart and soul that burns, there is no vapor.

To be alone at night when it's really cold, I just shut my eyes and think of you're warm beautiful hugs and warm sweet tender lips.

I cannot wait to see you next time Sam.

To stand by your side,
To hold your hand,
To see your beautiful smile,
To look into your eyes and see love.

I wish I was right by your side now, until we meet next time, I love you."
