Uncle Scam

by Tom   Nov 8, 2006

Hey, Sam, don't point your finger at me, just flip me the bird.
I know your rhetoric in case you haven't heard.
Serve my country, but what has my country done for me?
It's freedom I'm after, not your facade of liberty.
You're no uncle of mine, you're not
family,
you're a poster boy for crimes
against humanity.
Under a motto: One nation under
God.
It's we the people, but we still bought into your fraud
To go and fight a rich mens wars
For blood money out of the pockets of the poor.
Wars keep your friends rich, that's
your dirty little secret,
You can't afford to have this info
repeated.
I have no appetite to inhale gas or
swallow anthrax,
Draft someone else's ass.
Who'll blindly surrender their lives
for the task.
With one foot inside the casket,
Counterfeit democracy is a clever tactic.
As long as opinion polls twist the public's perception,
We'll give more ammo to the
president of mass deception,
A draft dodger who bypassed both
presidential elections.
How many times are we going to
surrender lives?
For these lies.
To an impostor emblazoned in the
Scars and Strife,
Replace the stars on the flag with dollar signs.
Pull out the book and strike the match,
And burn his legacy down to ash.
