Waiting

by Michael   Nov 9, 2006

It's amazing how two months can feel like two years
Three months are around corner
All the struggle we've both gone through
To find what we have now
A pain well worth it's weight
Together there is no mountain we can't climb
There is no unsurmountable obstacle
I spend every waking moment thinking of you
Everything in one way or another reminds me of you
As I sit waiting for the days to go by that physically keep us apart
I'd give up all I have to be with you
I'd go to the ends of the Earth if it means I get to be by your side
I'd even go to church with you if we have to
We only say what we mean, which is rare in a world engulfed by cliche after cliche
Why is it that the word love has become cliche? As is hate?
Our society uses such words to get their way
But we use them as they are meant to
For their true value
Age defines wisdom not maturity
I sit here and wait for the moment I get to see a smile on your face again
The days that feel like years pass us by and yet they are going so slow
Waiting untill I see you
