Tears in the River

by Carlee Ann   Nov 10, 2006

**New form. Be nice.**

I let you into my heart
And deep within my soul
The recollections are fading
But the magic is never lost

I hear the whisper of your lips
As my head rests on your chest
Can I ever forget you, no
But you could forget about me

Every moment we're apart
Pain begins to take its toll
The memories are degrading
I'll keep them at all costs

My heart is beginning to rip
And I can't lay fear to rest
I have no idea where to go
I'm so blind and I cannot see

(if you notice, the 1st and 3rd verses have the same rhyme pattern... for example, the 1st line in the 1st verse matches the 1st line in the 3rd verse. The same goes for verses 2 and 4.)
