Put the Razorblades Down

by CarissalRADIOFACEl   Nov 11, 2006

She goes to school, fakes it for six hours straight
and gets beaten at home for being ten minutes late.
She's wearing a smile while she's out and about,
but, she's in her room, and plays by her own rules now.

Put the razorblades down, honey.
Just because no one's around
doesn't mean no body's there.
Put the rope in the garage, baby.
I know it might be hard
but that doesn't mean no body cares.

He opens his locker, trying to get to class on time
but here come the jocks and he's first in line
He limps on home, and once he's there,
he runs to his room, and no one's aware...

Put the razorblades down, honey.
Just because no one's around
doesn't mean no body's there.
Put the rope in the garage, baby.
I know it might be hard
but that doesn't mean no body cares.

Put the razorblades down...

The police burst in because the neighbor called
cause he was out on the ledge, clutching the wall...
They reach out a hand, tell him to take it.
Call to him, "Son, this is the only way you'll make it..."

Put the razorblades down, honey.
Just because no one's around
doesn't mean no body's there.
Put the rope in the garage, baby.
I know it might be hard
but that doesn't mean no body cares.

Except for not being into the whole "baby" and "honey"...I really liked this poem! It was excellent and I thought it could almost be a song because of the repition. Great job! 5/5
