Blind

by Alexis   Nov 12, 2006

When i was blind,
you were my eyes,
when you were deaf,
you heard my cries,
you raised me up,
from beneath the graves,
But i pulled down,
so i couldn't be saved.
When you were blind,
i heard your cries,
i told you i was deaf,
Now i can't escape these lies,
as i look down at the grave
you lie dead.
And only now i realize,
the mistake I've made,
when you were blind,
you looked inside
and found the girl,
i left behind,
you told me you loved me,
i could not respond,
So i lost you,
and your loving bond,
Blinded by the darkness,
I'm all alone,
regretting my mistakes,
i was colder as stone,
bringing you back,
i would cry the cries
and feel the pain of the world.
Just to apologize,
if you can hear me,
I'm sorry!
I was blinded by the bad,
i could only worry,
i would do anything,
To leave that life behind,
but until then,
I will remain blind.
