Hope Shall Be Held!

Hope Shall Be Held!

To know the Future is to be like God

We be mere Mortals

The Future is Not Ours to Know

It is God's, and those Chosen Few

The Past is known to Mortals, and Devine

To Know the Future is to Change It

The Past may be of Sorrow, or Joy

The Future is Not Known

Though Hope Shall Be Held

Though We may Want to Change the Past

Even God is Denied that

We Must Not Dwell There

So We must Hold Faith, and Hope

Hope for Ourselves, and for the Future

Faith in Ourselves, and Our Creator

Though We may be Wronged, We must Forgive

We Have to Hold Faith, and Hope to Live

For We are on this Mortal Coil for but a While

We are but grains of sand

Mere Flashes of Light in the Darkness

We Must make the Most of what We Have

Though We may Not Know the Plan, or Path

We Must however Hold Hope

The even though We may be in Desperation, or Sorrow

The Future Will be Brighter
