Anywhere I Lay My Head

by Kalgalath   Nov 13, 2006

Anywhere I lay my head,
I seem to think of you
Even In bed,
As I always do

You are never off my mind,
Your presence is always there
I try to rewind,
Back to that "affair"

Why did we do that?
What was the point?
We should have just had a chat,
So that we did not disappoint

You were just playing me,
I fell into a trap
I did not plea,
For you to come back

Anywhere I lay my head,
I think of us
I should have fled,
And not discuss

Where we were going,
To nowhere
I was easygoing,
On that "affair"

You are so heartless,
You don't know what you want
You are not artless,
And you also affront

Everyday,
It's someone new
You lead them astray,
They have no clue

Make up your mind,
Would you please?
You need to find,
Someone you do not displease

(If I was reading it, it would make a lot more sense and not seem so forced)

I LOVE this meaning. Not to get personal, but I think of my ex with this poem. The rhymes again seem a bit forced. Try to use bigger vocabulary. I bet if you use description a little bit more (not necessarily of settings or situations, but of emotions) you will love your poetry and be satisfied. Okay? Hope I helped!
