Daddy why did you leave me with Mom?

by Mo   Nov 14, 2006

A force you thought to be
as powerful as the Sun, burnt your skin so many times and you wanted to run. But I was the reason you withstood the burns for so long,
because the Sun canâ??t reach inside, where the heart belongs.

The powerful force did everything possible to pull us so far apart,
Our time together got smaller and smaller but that could not alter my heart.
This extra humidity that the sun created was getting harder for you to stand, And the awful perspiration that resulted, made the ring slip off your hand.

You left me with the Sun shining bright in my eyes. Shining so bright I could hardly recognize,
the woman whom I can't stand, the woman who made you strip that ring off your hand.

I told you I was okay with you leaving because for you I want the best Whatever that takes even if it means I must give up all the rest.
But when you were gone it didn't take long for me to realize my huge mistake
Because telling you I would be fine, was unbearable for my heart to take.

From then on, I lived with the woman whom I despised
The Sun that blinded my eyes
The powerful force that
criticized
And the life
that
she filled
with lies.
