Darkened room

by Flying Phoenix   Nov 14, 2006

The darkened room of hollow skulls
Shrouds a cloud of impending night
There in the corner
That sinister shadowed corner
Hides a fragile girl from the light

She is broken, a shattered soul
Her mind empty and heart alone
A shell of what was
Empty inside
And in that horrid corner
She hides

Once she was of laughter and joy
A smile plastered across her face
But oh not now
Not since then
She shivers and hides in that
Fateful place

There the dark did shy away
From an opened door
For there in the frame
Stood the one
The only one
And he gave his heart to heal her pain

So now she no longer hides
She sits and smiles, now sane
Because of he
Who always loved she
Made her whole again

*have gone mad*
