Over A Boy

by Cathy   Nov 14, 2006

She looks in the mirror and sees whats in front of her, she doesn't like the person that looks so hurt
Thats not me she tells herself with bags under her eyes she knows the depression is affecting her health and causing her cries
Her hair is a mess since shes been depressed
She doesn't dress in her old clothes she wonders around the house feeling so cold
Her makeup is smeared leaving smudges on her face looking in the mirror shes such a disgrace
Thats not the girl with the shiny brown hair, the one that use to be full of smiles and had stories to share
Thats not the girl that was always full of joy, thats not the same girl that would ever get depressed over a boy
She use to look so pretty she use to dress herself up nice, now when she looks at herself she see this disguise
This is a monster a demon inside, wheres is that pretty girl why did she have to hide
She slams her fist straight through the mirror, and watches the blood run with not a single tear
She hates herself now she wishes she was dead, she doesn't want to live with so many tears shed
He left her like this living in pain, he doesn't even care that her life's not the same
Now shes this whole different person one full of hate knowing deep down this wasn't her fate
But as the blood is pouring and covering the floor, she looks at herself in the broken glass once more
This is not the girl so full of joy, that girl would never get depressed over a boy
