Love
What does it mean?
Without it
Life is a terrible dream

He told me that he cared
And I believed him
But now he's got another
A girl who may never leave him

He means so much to me
He turns my darkness into light
And now that he's gone
My day returns to night

And I sit around and wonder
Why I'm dwelling on this guy
A wonderful illusion
Of a love that would have died

Now I'm trying to forget him
That perfect love of mine
Who lived too far away
For him to let his love shine

My lullaby is tears
My routine is regret
But at least he kept our friendship
That no one could forget.

    Ooh, this is a really good piece. Heartfelt, and emotion filled. Very nice. I particularly liked this stanza

    My lullaby is tears

    That worked really well, and I can relate. :)
