Frozen time

by Flying Phoenix   Nov 15, 2006

The ripple shivers down my spine
Tensing nerves and freezing time
Freeing my heart from within my chest
As my mind realises I am blessed
A thousand thoughts, a thousand dreams
All in an instant shout and scream
Paths to take and lives to lead
Whether I can cope or feel the need
To be loved and held forever here
Whilst my senses tingle with fear
Just one moment and I am lost
Only I will feel the cost
As time has stopped to us alone
My heart now shivers, drops like a stone
Because all I can do is love you too much
All these emotions by a gentle touch
Concern taints your perfect face
For I have fallen with a single embrace
