Tonight Is My Last

by X Kashies Misery X   Nov 16, 2006

Can you hear the wind blowing through the trees with a rustling sound?
The wind is making haunting noises whilst scooping down at the grass,
The moon light is shining bright,
Just for him and me,
Only for tonight,
For tonight is my last.

Listen to the water running through the river,
It swirls and collides with the wind,
Will he fly with me?
Will he be mine for tonight?
For tonight is my last,
Last night to be with him.

As I walk to wards the hills,
The long grass brushes against my thighs,
I will miss you nature,
For you have been my friend when he was never here,
And since he has not come,
Like he always says he would,
I have to go,
Tonight is my last night.

I like this poem. I really love nature and this poem is lovely. I love the night and I can picture the landscape you 'paint'.
