Replaceable

by jello   Nov 16, 2006

Slightly sad
Impatient
Easily annoyed
Build up anger inside

She was the girl no one notice and everyone noticed for all the wrong reasons
She had some friends, most of who weren't close
And when she'd walk away her soul slightly lingered, waiting to see who would take her place
It was always someone because she was, after all, replaceable

All alone
Friendless
Just a whisper
Nothing more

People use to know her but after graduation she disappeared
She stepped into the darkness and let herself slip away
She took up the w h o r e business, she always looked a mess
Her customers didn't care though, as long as they could get some
They'd tell her, "You are so beautiful"
But at the end of the end of the day they would return to their homes
So just as before she was, as they say, replaceable

Completely broken
How do you smile?
Pain, no love
No ambition

She got up and left, went far away
Somewhere new, nobody knew her
But she got a surprise, she ran into an old friend
They barely recognized her because she looked so different
They said her name and all she could do was smile
No one said it in years, it was a nice change
She grabbed their hand and said, "Let me tell you a story but promise not to judge me, I had my reasons."

Maybe she wasn't so replaceable...

*I kinda just made this up...not a true story but who knows someday it might be...idk...i got nothing
