The lovers gap

by ben   Nov 17, 2006

I loved you once,
i love you still
the only thing that finished us,
is the distance that remains.

why does love do this
give you something great
when all it's going to do
is fade away again

when you left me ,
you made it hurt more.
by mentioning the perfect weekend,
we'd had just a week before.

then you say you'd been thinking for a while,
at this point here I'd begun to cry.
i don't cry often and try not to at all,
cause i have to be masculine and stand it all.

they say the greatest things in life are free
the best nd cheapest thing i can think of is you and me
nothing now will happen and nothing will change
you want to be friends so friends we'll stay

I'll look back to my past and sort my self out,
see where i went wrong
I'll straighten things out wit someone else yet remain constant to you

I'll always love you as you said you'd always love me
u have a place in my heart
from now to eternity.

i know this isn't my best work but please let me know what you think.

The 4th verse is the best one. Nifty title too.
