Never mind my broken heart,
The one you abused and tore apart.
Never mind my broken bones,
Crushed and crumbled like shattered stones.
Disregard the clumps of hair,
Tugged and pulled right down the stairs.
Never mind my puckered lips,
Swelling and bleeding from your fists.
Never mind my finger nails,
Ripped out from clinging to the rails.
Do not hear my sobbing pleas,

To throw me up against the wall,
Watch me stumble, slip and fall.
Never mind the blood stained floor,
