You

by Bethany   Nov 19, 2006

I see you, as you make her laugh.
Then as soon as you leave, she lets out a gasp.
Her friends giggle and say how lucky she is.
I just watch, waiting for it to end.

You may seem like the perfect couple, to everyone around.
But it seems that you just settled for the first one you found.
Everyone you see, thinks that your just fine.
Am I the only one who can see, the anger building inside?

You show your perfect teeth, and smile over her way.
I just close my eyes, wishing that it\'d all go away.
I write your name on my notebook, and see you in my dreams.
Is this not fate? Or am I the only one who sees?

Tell me one good reason, please just tell me why.
No matter what I do, nothing is ever right!
I thought you were the rock supporting me,
But I guess I\'m just the dirt underneath.
