Suicide

She seemed so perfect
but she was just a simple girl
it seemed like everything was put together
she had everything in the world

but if anyone only knew
the story that she keeps inside
they'd think differently about this girl
who always seems to cry

that mascara she piles on
just seems to run away
when she looks in the mirror
and knows its not that same

so then again she reaches for the razor
and rubs its across her wrist
she closes her eyes from pain
wondering why life's like this

Her bathroom door remains closed
as her parents start to get scared
but she claims that shes Ok
as she piles on more fear

the blood rushes out
and tears being to flow
why does she do this to herself?
she doesn't even know

She knows this isn't it
the pain has just begun
she does this every night
but its anything but fun

then one of these nights
while it was getting a late
she began to realize
it was all a big mistake

That may sound good
like maybe she put it to an end
but thats not it
she still didn't win

her parents were doing their own thing
still clueless of their daughters life
so she gathered her things in the bathroom
the place where she would hide

she was in that bathroom
the same one with the blade
she got even madder
when she looked in the mirror that day

So she got out the razor.
not one, or even two
she got out many, many more
and she had plans on what to do

She let out a deep breath
then set off to work
crying along the way
knowing it was going to hurt

her parents just sat there
then they heard a shrieking scream
this is when they realized
things were worse then they seemed

they ran through the hallways
heading toward a door
a door that led to a bathroom
with a girl lying on the floor

the razor was next to her
and blood was gushing from her neck
everyone was in shock
what could you expect?

the people at school couldn't speak
once they heard the news
this couldn't be that perfect girl
that they all once knew

the funeral was depressing
they all should be
but what could be worse then a suicide
from a girl whose barely a teen
