The time has come
for you to leave
leave all what you
know behind, even me

i wish i had
some more time
to spend with you
even a day, or maybe two

for i will be
truely sad
i know i must not
get too upset

or shall i cry
because it's against the rules
but i honestly can't
help what i feel for you

we did agree
to make this work
make it last
for these 13 weeks

don't forget me
i know i could never you
i promise I'll write
you must too

this is the last
chance i get to
see you before
you do go

but i will tell
you this much
i really love you so
how much you'll never know...

    From one who has been through boot camp I agree the even that pain shadows in comparison to a lovers broken heart. I hope he comes back to and that you will write him everyday and not feel too bad if he doesn't write you back as often. he will be busy as you probably already know. peace

    Wow, that really does suck. And the poem, i was able to feel the pain. a 5/5.

    here are lil corrections if you dont mind:
    for i will be
    TRULY sad (really just doesnt sound like the right word in a poem sometimes.)
    i know i must not
    get toO upset

    there were a few other places you probably wanna check, reread your poema dn see if there is anything you'd want to fix.

    still you get a 5/5.
