My battle cry

by Kayla   Nov 21, 2006

The light in my heart
Will not be turn off
The fight for my soul
Will not be lost

It is mine
And mine to give
I cant back down
I cant give in

I stand on the frontline
Ready and trained
To save my generation
To pull it out of the flames

I don't have a gun
But I have the truth
Its in my heart
I wont be moved

We knew this would happen
The time to raise up
We sat back for to long
Its been building up

I stand on the frontline
Not knowing if I fall
But if I don't try
I wont know at all

I don't need a gun
An arrow, spear or sword
I fight this battle
With my heart set on the Lord

We are His people
He has made us each a plan
He has faith in us
He's are biggest fan

For so long I was asleep
Stuck in night
But He has woke me up
He showed me the light

He died for me
Something I can never repay
But I can fallow His word
Live for him each and every day

I stand on the frontline
With Him in my heart
The enemy in front of me
Waiting to break us apart

I will fight for them
To see what I see
To live a life in truth
And be His hands and feet

Stand up saints
The time has come
To pick up our bibles
And do what has to be done

I WONT back down
Even if I have to die
I have the truth
I cant be fooled by the lies

If I die
I wont be lost
Jesus died
He paid my cost

My generation has fallen
Its time to be His hands
To stand on the rock
And pull them out of the sand

I stand on the frontline
For Him ready to die
I have enlisted
Ive sounded my battle cry
