I Heard You

Locked away in a cell day and night.
Thinking to yourself freedoms so far out of sight.
Living life in the fast lane sent you here
A few puffs from the blunt, one too many beers.
Now you're looking at a few years
You hurt inside but don't like to show your tears.
Thinking positive is the last thing u feel u can do,
You've made so many mistakes u feel u can't get through.
But im here to tell you that you can make it
I know you've done things u truly regret.
I will not judge you and I will not lie
I will give you another chance as long as you try.
You can change your life you are so young
Don't throw away this chance for I am The Great One
I am God Almighty I heard your prayer
You said you want to change
And I can help you get there.
But in order to change you must make up your mind
Keep a straight head and you will change in time.
I promise you it is not that hard to do
Keep me in your life and I will guide you.
Youngster you've come close to losing everything you had
Your child, wife, mom and dad
Let me tell you one thing you need to know
Family should be number one, friends come and go
I know you are incarcerated now but soon you will be free,
When things get hard and temptations comes near,
I expect you to come to me.
So don't ever say that you have no one to turn to,
Because I am God Almighty and when you prayed...
I heard you.
