Guardian Angel

by ...Jasmine...   Nov 22, 2006

He gently places her down,
And he tucks her into bed,
One soft touch upon her face,
As she lays there almost dead.

He stays with her all night,
Just so he can hear her breathe,
He lives to make her happy,
He doesnt want her to leave.

He holds her hand so tight,
Hoping she will grip it hard,
He gets weaker as she suffers,
Having flashes of the graveyard.

A smile appears on her face,
As he talks about their first date,
He stops and cries I love you,
Only destiny could choose her fate.

He climbs into the bed with her,
And kisses her with all his heart,
That was their last night together,
And she slowly drifted apart.

He awakes on their anniversary,
But she lay there cold and dead,
Tears start falling from his eyes,
And he kisses her on the head.

He spent the night by her grave,
And he cried out to his love,
A voice tells him to look up,
Thats when he saw his angel from above.
