Memories

Everywhere i go
something reminds me of you
i can't do anything
without thinking of you, dad
the song we sang in choir
it's the one you sang to me
the picture i was drawing in art
was of your sculptures
the new song we got in band
was one you played on your guitar
i miss you dad
and i can't stop thinking about how you left me all alone
every little thing i do
holds memories of you...

this was my day today and it felt like the perfect time to write a poem
