The girl in the mirror

by Kristy Schu   Nov 24, 2006

Mirror mirror, on the wall, who is the the most hated of them all i sobbed, the girl in the mirror just looked at me tears streaming down her face a dull nothingness in her eyes, a pounding in her ears, i trace a finger over the mirror face, such a mutant beauty, i shuddered to think i look like that, i pounded the mirror with my fist, the mirror shattered, the girl in the mirror shattered too leaving her fragments for me to fix my problems, i cut and sliced until there was no longer a dull thud in my ears but one in my wrist, i lay there in the floor bleeding, no one would find the mirror girl till it was too late.

I dont condone cutting or self harm, this is a fictional poem!
