Her Guilt

by Christie   Nov 24, 2006

Crying to the light she knows,
There is no way to make it go,
A sweet smile shown of desperate plea,
Conveys her guilt of all she needs.

Till then confusion directed her way,
Became the only friend of her day,
Hooded and masked, yet sickly sweet,
It was her master of deceit.

Hand in hand they faced the world,
Around each other their fingers curled,
He held her with a grip so tight,
Confusion wanted to lord that night.

Determined to show her away from sad,
Confusion enticed, she was only too glad,
Yet away from him confusion led,
She was too vulnerable to see what this meant.

Aww. It's sort of sad. But happy? At the same time? Lol. I thought some of it seemed cute, the descriptions and everything. The flow was fantastic. I liked it a lot. It just rolled off the tip of my tounge, since I read poems out loud to fully understand the meanigns. =P

The descriptions were wonderful, yet again. They really gave me a great image in my mind. The 'story' itself was quite depressing, and mind-boggling (to me anyways =P ). Keep it up. =) 5/5 xoxo

This was another great poem...but i must say that the end line through off the rhythm some...other than that though it was excellent and still deserves a 5.
