Friends are the ones that care.
They won't leave you anywhere.

They hold on close; never let go.
Real friends will never be your foe.

If you have a friend thats true.
Don't let them go from you.

If the don't hurt you or forsake.
They won't make your heart break.

Friends are hard to find to keep.
And sometimes you want to weep.

You'll find your true friend one day.
For your heart is a friend that'll stay

Don't give up hope for your quest.
Find that friend that'll be your best.

And love is your companion to life.
Keep your eyes open for a light.

    ^^ This sounded weird to me, not sure why..

    This was good too, still not as good as the first though. The flow was a little choppy but I think that is because of the short stanza's. I still think some of your wording could be improved. Some lines sounded very simple and had very common words in them. This just made it seem unoriginal. I liked the last line though 4/5
