I claim

by Madison   Nov 26, 2006

I claim no beauty
Outside or in
I claim no poise
Or depth within

I claim no wealth
Of which to envy
I claim no voice
I sing off melody

I claim no body
Of model size
I claim no intelligence
To make me wise

I claim no face
Of beauty rare
I claim no pure heart
Or devise of which I care

I claim no tatlent
Of which others don’t own
I claim no place
That I can call home

I claim no man
To wich I call mine
I claim no feelings
But hope they come in time

I claim no whole heart
For mine has been broken
I claim to be no poetic genius
But please take this as a token

All I can claim is my love for you
And hope that in return,
That you can claim me for yourself
So that from you I can learn
