Love

Thinking back now to a couple of summers ago
I rememeber how my life used to be
When the nighs turned into days, everything was slow
I want to be the old me

I want to be the person who didn't need anyone
The person who other people needed
The person who always walked in the sun
But that person is gone, another created

I woke up to the world and everything good and bad
How fast times goes by
For a while I was in a world of sad
And all I could ever do is sigh

But I've come out of that too
Realized I am gonna get hurt but I'll be ok
Because I'm stronger for the things I go through
And I have the one thing I need at the end of the day:
LOVE

    I like this poem. But I have alwaysed had the problem of not being able to say, "I love you" to any of my girlfriends in the past. It is not something you should just throw around at any person that you like and likes you back. So you just say it to get some reasurance. but that is just me. Good poem by the way.
