I've had a photo before
right where my face should be
it has changed a mood with the currents
but i have always been myself
i have always been a forgetful face

but now i'm just the outline
the body frame for the head
and where my face was once a smile
a frown or a tear
is just an empty plate
now says "insert photo here"

    I was drawn in by the title of this poem and i'm really glad i read it cos it makes so much sense... you have used a great image to potray how we all doubt who we are at times... deep and very well written.. short but sweet x
