When words fall on deaf ears!

by Chris   Nov 27, 2006

Words falling on deaf ears,
Comparable to your worst fears!
Miserable, heart broken and weak,
Nobody cares, nobody knows of the cure he seeks!

Filled with hurt and dismay,
How does he make it through the day?
He is only human, made of clay,
Rescue him with your lips and by the sweetest things you say!

What good is God when he is not listening?
In his heart there is darkness; it isn't glistening!
What good are friends when they do not care?
What good is life when it is filled with so much despair?

Words falling on deaf ears are like Chinese torture,
It is like having your feet plastered with Mortar!
Or losing your only daughter!
There is no cure for this onslaught, this slaughter!
